Welcome to the High Life Lounge’s blog. Many of you have been kind enough to visit us over the years, and we thank all of you for your patronage. You truly know what it means to live the High Life.

However, some of you probably aren’t that familiar with us, so we’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about ourselves. You can find the basic information on the home page; when we opened, awards we’ve won, where we’re located, and all that good stuff. All of that is valuable information, we want you to know those things. But that doesn’t tell you who we really are.

We want you to have some idea about the kind of place you’re walking into. So, we asked the staff how they feel about the place. I think my two favorite answers are, “That 70′s show, minus the smoke circle, plus tator tots,” and “imagine the baby of your grandma’s basement and a 70′s bowling alley.”

You might call us retro, you might call kitschy, but don’t ever call us stuffy. High Life is a place where everyone can feel comfortable, a place where everyone is a regular Joe, a place where everyone loves Broasted chicken and Tang. In short, it’s a place you want to be. Stop in and see us soon.
